Special thanks to Lancome and Influenster for gifting me these beautiful products. All opinions are my own.
Lancome Skin Care
Lancome Skin Care Solutions from the Visionnaire line is now officially part of my daily skin care regime. This is my very first time using skin care products from this beauty brand. However, I have seen great reviews about their products before but did not get around to trying them until now.
Usually, I use their fragrances namely the La Vie est Belle which is one of my favourites. Someone also told me that I need to try their foundation as it is one of the best on the market. That is another product I am yet to try but it is on my wish-list. So recently they came out with this new line of “skin savvy expert solutions” and I am happy to put it to the test. So let’s get into each product and what is expected from them.

Correcting Concentrate – 15% Vitamin C
Aids with dullness, uneven skin-tone (a major concern for me) and a loss of elasticity. If you experience any of these issues I assure you, you will begin to see results almost immediately. But don’t take my word for it, just try it yourself. This formula is a brightening serum that transforms the look of your skin. Evens off your complexion, leaving it looking more radiant and fresh.
It retails for $65 and comes in a 10 ml bottle (not too bad if you ask me). A little bit goes a long way, literally since you only need 4-5 drops for each application. You start seeing results within a week as my face appeared more refreshed and awaken if that makes sense. Bye-bye to my once obvious two-toned complexion.
Loose Setting & Mattifying Powder (Deep)
Invisible loose setting powder is for setting your makeup to give a matte, flawless look. No need to worry about shine and excess oils after applying this to your face. Goes on lightweight, blurs imperfections and improves foundation wear. Setting your makeup is equally important as applying primer and this one does a great job at that.
Correcting Night Concentrate – 0.2% Retinol
Strictly for night time use only, the 0.2% retinol is for targeting deep wrinkles (what we are scared of), fine lines and uneven texture. After applying the 15% vitamin c serum, I let it sit for a while before applying some of this. You can use any other night cream or moisturizer if you wish.
Fix It Forget It Setting Mist
Last but not least, the fix it forget it setting mist to top off your makeup look. Promises to keep your face intact for up to 24 hours and suitable for all skin types. Infused with plant extracts and doesn’t contain any damaging ingredient such as parabens and silicone. Also, it is oil-free, non-sticky and fragrance-free. There are a number of other benefits of using this product such as:
- Ulta lightweight
- Makeup stays true to colour and complexion
- Mists evenly
- Doesn’t settle into fine lines, wrinkles or pores
- Deflects and protects the skin
- Infused with kiwi, moringa seed and witch hazel extracts
- Contains hyaluronic acid
You can also use it as a refresher to wake up your makeup.
Lancome Skincare Routine
Taking care of your skin is time-consuming but it is important to maintain a daily routine. Let us face it, we are all scared of the imperfections that may come with age. So now is a good time to start taking care of our skin before its too late.
PS: From the photographs, you can tell that I am in my robe in my bathroom because this is a real-life situation. Sorry not sorry about the messy countertop, uncombed hair and the bathroom backdrop but this is as real as it gets. Frankly, this is where all the action goes down with my hair and face on a daily basis.
That sums up Lancome skincare solutions review and I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I had fun taking pictures and writing. Have you ever tried anything from Lancome skincare line? Share your thoughts with me down below!2
