I received this BarePro Concealer from Influenster in the shade Tan/Dark-Warm 11 for review. This shade is a bit too light for my skin-tone but with some manipulation, I get it to work with other products. The Barepro Concealer boasts of its 16-hour full coverage, however, I haven’t been able to prove this since I do not wear my makeup for that long.
It says full coverage but I find myself having to build layers of the product before it gives good coverage. Normally when a brand says full-coverage I expect 1 or 2 applications maximum. Ulta-creamy and glides on smoothly without leaving any creases. Appears to be long-wear and waterproof as I do not need to reapply any product during an 8-10 hour period.
Packaging is a great deal for me when it comes to buying most things especially beauty products. Packaged nicely in stick form and about the size of a mini lipgloss. Fits perfectly into my handbag and makeup bag and the cover snaps really tight so I do not need to worry about it coming apart.
Longwear as it withstands long hours of humidity
Easy, smooth application without having to think about spills
Multi-purpose: conceals, corrects and contours
Can be used as an eye-shadow base as well
A bit too light for my complexion
Have to apply layers of product in order to achieve full coverage
Pricey – $27 is a bit much for this concealer
So is the BarePro Concealer a good product? Well maybe depending on what your needs are as it can be used for different purposes. I’ll rate it overall 8 out of 10 since I did not feel the need to ditch my LA Girl Pro Concealer for this. Also, there are some other comparable brands at a similar price that works much better.
