How To Look Your Best
Are you planning to attend Coachella this year but have absolutely no idea what to wear? Or perhaps you’ve already spent a lot of money on tickets and are now in search of low-cost outfit options? Well, rest assured because I am going to tell you exactly how to look your best at Coachella on a budget. You do not need to have a million dollars to achieve your desired look.
Neither do you need to sacrifice style and functionality while being on a budget. The best part is, even if you don’t plan on attending Coachella but are heading to other Spring concerts, you can apply these same tips.
How To Look Your Best At Coachella
Decide On A Budget
The first thing you should do is think about what you are going to be doing on that day. By that I mean, are you going to be dancing all day or casually here and there? Whether it is the former or latter, being on your feet for long hours is not cute. It requires comfortable shoes and I have linked some festival-approved ones in this post. Depending on your level of activity and movement, that would determine what type of shoes you need to wear.
Choosing one over the other does not in anyway mean that you are going to have less fun. Now that we have gotten that out of the way you can decide on your budget and outfit. Knowing how much is available to spend, makes the task of putting together the actual outfit much easier.
Keep It Simple
Dress to impress but keep it simple because after all its just a one-time event you attend every year. Another little secret is unless you are really famous nobody will really care about your choice of clothing.
Avoid Buying Everything Together
Avoid buying your ticket, outfit, shoes, and accessories all at the same time. Instead, pick an item to buy each month leading up to the event and space it out. In that way, there is no need to break the bank or feel like your entire salary went up in flames. But for this to work you have to plan way ahead and get your stuff organized. Last minute shopping tends to result in higher priced items due to the lack of time to shop so start early.
Look For Alternative Ways To Wear The Same Style
This means two things, firstly you can utilize items you already have such as denim shorts as they never go out of style. Style it with this black lace top over a black bra. Secondly, skip buying designer items, for now, instead shop for lookalikes such as this Valentino dupe pump that I absolutely love. It’s so chic, will effortlessly elevate your ensemble and only costs $38.
Sometimes when you see something that you like that costs a lot, you can simply research cheaper alternatives. A perfect example is this Adidas lookalike all white sneakers that does the same job as the authentic one. Those are just some of the many ways in which you can accomplish a similar look but with less costly pieces.
